Were the ducks dead carcasses left in the pen? Im a bit confused! But the 2" hole sounds like a weasel or mink. A fox could never get in a hole that small. How big is the mesh of the wire you use for the sides and top?

Yukonn15 yours could be a coyote, fox, raccoon, bobcat... Even an owl if your duck was killed at night. Ive only known raccoons to rip heads off though! Foxes eat everything but beaks, feet and wings!
