Christmas story.Around Christmas last year my salmon faverolle hen,Lucille,ran away.She came back a few days later.I am not sure how she survived outside that long without a predator getting her.

I'm happy she's safe and sound, angels amongst us. Mine was last year. It was when my husband could eat, sing,do all sorts of things. Now he's tired, can't eat, sleepy, cancer does horrible things to people.We are all thankful he's still with us,& hopefully many more to come.

Here's another Christmas memory, happier. I taught my children never talk to stranger's. Long story short, to late. Mom and daughter off to see mall Santa. This was many moons ago, however memorable. We get there wait in line, she screams so loud. I try to calm her, she says stranger.I says honey it's Santa. The 1st few years easy, she learns about strangers, & no one can be trusted not even Santa. Which is a good thing. At the time though it was funny
