Hey yall, I know its a bit late but I'm pretty proud of how they came out. My nephews have shown some interest in hunting and the whole farm life. One of them asked for a hunting knife for Christmas. I bought some Damascus blades, and went digging through my stack of turning wood. Found some stabilized buckeye burl and spalted maple. THey are ready to help clean deer, chickens, and work in the garden. I already invited them out next month to prune apple trees and try their hand at grafting.

I bought the blade blanks, but I did the scales for the handles and pins. I normally work with stone or obsidian. this is my first time working with metal blades, so this is more of a test run. I have not decided yet if I'm going to make any more.
