OMG i happened to see my duck poop and then afterwards there was what appeared to be a LARGE worm hanging out. I tried to pull it gently but was afriad to as i thought it might be prolapsed bowel or if it is a big worm that pulling it out might cause more harm than good. i saw another similar post...am i right in understanding this may be a duck penis? NOOOOOOOO! seriously, this thing is flesh colored and looks like the tail end of a big worm-anyone out there please help?! i am planning to take her to the vet tomorrow but perhaps this is normal? HELP!
It could be a penis. Can you take a pic and post it? How old is your duck? It could also be part of a soft shelled egg. Hard to say without more info.
Are you sure it's a girl? If its a boy, it's probably a penis and should have retracted by now. Good thing you didn't pull it out, whatever it is.
