I posted this a couple of days ago with not very much response. I really really hope someone on here can help me with my baby PLEASE! I have tried saline solution, I have tried to remove with a qtip with saline, I don't know what this is I also bought wormer (safeguard) not sure what dose to give him though. I researched alot online and found a safe dose to put in water for him and his coop mates. Any help for my boy would be greatly appreciated. I had someone tell me tobacco and pumpkin seed for wormer but I'm afraid of anything not made for chicks.

Are you sure there's something in his eye rather than it got pecked? How long has it been?
Yes I really think it's some kind of worm. It's been there about a week. It will get kind of long/short then the next time I try to clean it then it's shorter/longer. I have tried to remove it but it pulls at something next to his eye.

Where are you located in the world?
Can you get a hold of him, open the eye and have someone take a clear photo of that?
It still looks like pus to me.

Valbazen can be used to treat eye worms, if you really feel like it's worms.

I will get a better picture during the day tomorrow. The reason I think its some kind of worm I can get the end of it a pull slightly and it pulls at the clear lining in the corner of his eye. You can't see it well in the pictures but there is 2 different parts going to the same place in the corner of his eye.
