OP Well have you worked up the nerve yet to go into the attic to see what may be lurking in the dark confined spooky hiding places yet ?? I wouldn't be afraid really......... it can only jump on you in the dark when your not looking and claw at the back of your neck and clothes and make little eery sqeaking sounds.

No really have you looked to see yet, we are all waiting for the prize.

. And yes, please let us know what you find...if you dare go up there. Just remember - don't say, "I'll be right back" before you go in!!!

I did work up the nerve, and I saw only some insulation pulled up in certain spots where we didn't put down plywood

and I only saw mouse stuff.....typical, I've heard them at night like duramaxgirl said......this was really different and LOUD.

I think something came through and checked out the digs and decided they didn't like it or they knew I was aware....anyway so far no monsters

I think maybe a squirrel or two......I don't know!

I noticed the fan attached to the roof had a cage like material around it with no holes or anything in it. That's good

Lookin good then, good to hear it............. see you were scared of nothin........... glad it's all worked out.

We had a roofing guy come out and found a gash about 18" long and 3" wide - perfect for squirrels.

They checked the whole inside of he attic and so no damage.....just outside where the roof had rotted (under the branches of the crab apple tree (another

) Anyway they put in a "oneway" trap and the little guy didn't know how to get out!! I watched from in the yard and he tried, but not very hard, and was so meek..........I think it was young and didn't understand what was going on....

I think he's out now............no noises. need the roof fixed before it gets really cold.
