Something in my duck pool

Hi there,
I am fairly new to raising ducks. They have a pool outside that I empty and rinse weekly. I noticed that there are 100’s of very tiny “fish” looking things. I have never put any type of fish in there. They don’t look like they could be tadpoles (what other creature could get in there) Anyone know what it could be?

It is hard to tell with the picture but those really tiny things swimming around

I think they are mosquito larva, but they are hard to see.

I think they are mosquito larvae. They swim with are jerky kind of motion, if that helps you. Just dump them out asap, they will die on the ground. You may need to dump the water a couple times a week for the time being.

Ducks love mosquito larvae or my Muscovy’s do.

They're either mosquito larva or tree frog tadpoles. Depending on area you live in. Both are capable of hatching in under a week.
