The welsh harlequins seem unsteady. I’m picking up the Vitamin b complex for cattle tomorrow morning. We think they have the beginning of bumblefoot but we’re not sure. And they seem to be having trouble walking. I take them outside every few days and they hardly forage. How much of the Vitamin B complex do you give them? I’ll post more pictures here in a little bit. I am thinking that they both have the beginnings of bumblefoot and Niacin deficiency.
Thank you in advance.

A video would be better if you can. Most of the info you need about a niacin deficiency is in this thread, https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/niacin-deficiency-in-waterfowl.1367557/
Thank you! Good article btw. It didn’t happen overnight, they are on pine shavings, maybe a little bit of the pigeon foot. What do you all think? I would like to post a video but getting it from off my phone and downloaded to YouTube is the part I haven’t figured out. We went ahead and did an epson salt bath to be on the safe side and sprayed a little iodine on the scabby parts on the bottoms of their feet. We’ll get the b complex tomorrow and give that to them and see if there’s a change over the next few days. Thanks again!

How old is she? A video would really help us determine what's going on, so she trips over her feet sometimes? What are you feeding her?

Thank you, glad you found it helpful!

This is what I am feeding currently. I just started it yesterday. It isn’t my top choice but it was they had at the farm store and it does have niacin in it and it says suitable for all types of poultry. It’s 19% protein, when they turn 3 weeks I’m switching to 16% protein. Before I was feeding the purina flock raiser. Yes they trip a little bit, they both do. They are 2 weeks old. 3 weeks this Friday.

We’re going to go get the b complex and the purina flock raiser. They are welsh harlequins. They are 2 weeks turning 3 weeks this Friday. Her feet are overlapping. He seems to have trouble turning. And he looks like he’s bowing out. And her toenail is bleeding I don’t know what that is from. What should we put on it?

They definitely have some pigeon-toed feet going on, they should be started on the complex per the threads recommendations.

UPDATE:
Hi everyone, :frow
We have been doing 1ml of the liquid b vitamin b complex on mealworms for 4 days now. They seem happier but other than that their legs/feet don't look any better. How long until they look better? Could this be genetic? Issues during incubation?
Thanks for everyone's help!!
Kelly
