Hi there..I'm hoping an experienced chicken owner can give me some advice
This morning one of my girls was acting strange. She was walking around sqwaking really loudly. Not hanging out with the rest of the group like usual and she was following me around the yard. She went into the coop and has been in and out of the nesting boxes all morning. I figured she was trying to lay an egg. I've been checking on her about every 20 mins. I went out and there was a partial egg in the box.. Looked like half of a shell and yolk and she was laying there pecking at it. She got down and she's just been standing in the coop ever since. She will walk out and just stand there and fall asleep. What can I do? Any idea whats going on? I'm reallly worried :/ Thanks in advance to anyone who helps
