I decided to add a photo of my chickens, and a short story, every day or two, if possible. We will see how This goes. We started Fluff Butt Farm last year, so the new chicks will soon be added as well. Thanks for stopping by!
🐔This is Little Debbie. She will be 1, in May 2021. She is a good lady, and sweet as pie. You can see her shaking her head in this photo, as she does every day, when let outside. I believe she is an Easter Egger, as she lays light green eggs. She likes sleeping in the nesting boxes, flapping her wings randomly, and fresh corn on the cob. Before going in for the night, she makes sure to get a short cuddle, or a few pets, first. Debbie, is part of my first flock. (We have chickie babes on the way soon!!) I got her, and 3 others that day.
So glad I started my farm. Its my ideal living situation. Thanks again for coming by, and reading my story. Be safe, well, and happy. 0310210809_HDR.jpg

Yes!! I love their cheeks, and beards. It gives them each a different expression, I think. So cute, and fluffy.
When we picked our chicks out I picked the extra most poofy cheeked chicks. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result 😁 only 1 doesn't have cheeks or a beard and she is so far pure white, and I've been wanting a white chicken so I'm super happy with her too.

It sounds like you got what you hoped for, then. I had a chick that had no proof in her face. I debated her breed... Suddenly, she is so poofy her cheeks look like little cotton balls. Lol. I love my chickens. Never thought I would but, I do. They are so fun.

Looks like a cutie

I posted chicken #2, Persephone, in another thread. I will just continue this one, as it seems easier.
This is Birchee. He is a handsome EE, and knows it, too! He spends his days courting the ladies, making nest beds, and tid-bitting. He enjoys taking all the ladies for a walk around the yard, as they dont wander far from him. He is 1 year old, and when we got him, he was supposed to be a girl. It's alright though. He is a good roo, and good to my girls.
