Something on chickens combs

Can anyone tell me what these black things are on my chickens comb? Thanks

I can't see too well but when a chicken gets pecked on the comb it leaves a little black scab wich I believe is dried blood. My hen low on pecking order occasionally will get little black spots on her comb.

It could also be from fowl pox. Is it on all of them, or just one or two?

It's on most all of them.

Then there is a good chance it is fowl pox, but that will go away in a few weeks. There isn't much you can do for it, and once they have had it they build an immunity to it. (very similar to us having chicken pox - kinda ironic

)
