School me Jim

yuppers,,,,, and if you mist it down lightly,, you get REALLY good tracks,, and will stick to the feets,, and you can see where they go and what they did , for alot of steps after they walk out of it.

Yep thats what we did, we sprinkled flour around the run to see if it was predator proof. Sure enough we had more visitors than I ever thought, we even had a fox visit (we found scat in that side of the yard. I hope you figure it out. Good Luck

They use it when they demolish buildings... The day before the explosion they do a walk through after it is cleared, put flour @ entrances to detect any unauthorized entrances. If they see a footprint, no explosion until they re-chfck the building...

hey that's how my kids know there IS A TOOTHFAIRY.....
We make a flour trap for her. She ends up walking in the flour and then leaves little foot prints all over.....They love setting up the tooth fairy trap....
(and to this day neither of them have ever realized that barbie and the toothfairy have the same size feet

Thats a good idea right there. The flour idea is good too. All of my neighbors have lost chickens to coons. But all of my neighbors have there chickens in a run and they dont have a coop or even nesting boxes. A coon is not going to get in my girls coop. I have made sure of that. What I think is happening is that a coon is sniffing around trying to find a weak spot. The only area that has me a little worried is the nesting boxes. I have them so that my mother can come over here (they live next door) and check for eggs from the outside. Even there I have put 3 latches on each door. I do have an AR-15. I will shoot coons.

Hey, thank all of yall for the help and concern.

Mike D
