Something stinks in the bator.......

I'm not sure if it's the left overs from an egg hatching in the turner a couple of weeks ago (which we moved to a new bator, and LG, that I really dislike) and we left the other eggs in to continue. I thought maybe an egg was bad, I took each one out to sniff them, but they all stink! (I think from being in the stinky bator......)
Plus one of my babies hatched last night, but it had a piece of eggshell stuck to it's butt, right over the vent........So I broke the rules and pulled it out, and ran warm water on it's bottom to get it off. I saw a tiny, tiny bit of blood, but I think I did more good than bad. I hope I did anyway!

Keep the humidity up and don't open it again until they're done.

I know, I know!!! It's so dang hard to keep it closed though isn't it?
We have one pipped, but he isn't getting anywhere.....I hope by tomorrow morning I'll have lots o' babies running around in there, and I can clean that stinky bator!
