Let her call the pound. If she wants to cause family problems over something that's really her fault it's simply on her. As long as your dad supported you having your dog at his house and all shots/tags are up to date you don't have a thing to worry about.

Well I realized her shots are 3 months past due.
If she calls the pound they could take her and cost us $1200

If she doesn't show you, I would bet she's lying.

In my state the only shots a dog is REQUIRED by law to have is Rabies Shot. As long as that is current, you should be fine. I think your aunt would have a hard time having someone believe that your dog was in the wrong descibing what happened with the dogs. Some people will do ANYTHING to cause a ruckus because they feed off the attention. Very sad people in the world, I know. I know a few. Good luck, PS Sorry about your mom, What an aweful women to cause you strife at this obviously hurtful time. People like that make me want to Slap the S**t out of them!

Same here... PA, only a rabies shot is mandatory. Even tho she's overdue, don't wait an extra day, get her shots ASAP. That way 'if' any animal control officer comes by Rudi will be current on shots.

BTW, I'm an animal lover too & I agree....100% your Aunts Fault.....Your dog had permission to be at Your Dad's house & she had prior knowledge Rudi was there & still showed up with her dog UNcontrolled & UNrestrained. Even 'if' it would o to court, there's a leash law, IMO it's ALL her fault.

My dad got off the phone with the head guy at Animal Control and he said she is still good for rabies even though its been 3 months BUT legally its not good enough. I sent my aunt the email in hopes she calms down..
