Many years ago I had the great idea to get a ferret. It was a female and still intact. She went into heat soon after we got her. I was told that ferrets can die from infections if they are not bred when in heat so I found an intact male and had her bred. She had a litter of three little ferrets kits that looked like pinky mice that you get to feed snakes. Away, I woke up one night to hear this squeaking sound and realized that she had taken the kits out of the cage and placed them in the bed with the wife and I. I woke up my wife and we SLOWLY got out of bed. Found the kits and put them back in the cage locked up this time. We had her fixed after that and she lived to be ten years old. She died in her sleep on a pillow next to my head as I took a nap on the couch one afternoon. All in all she was a good pet. Had to wash her regularly otherwise she had an odor. Sweat girl, she is missed.
