Its starting to make me wonder about there bedding, One of the ways I afford keeping them on daily fresh bedding is that I get hay / straw in those huge outdoor garbage bags from whats been broken off and stuff from the bales it only costs 2.50 and lasts me 3 to 4 weeks and I like the smell of hay and its nice that its easy to break down and can be used in a composter ect. but why would it have poop in it

All our local feed stores keep their hay and straw in large three-sided buildings, open in the front. So it would be easy for a critter to get to it. And i would think the loose stuff would be more likely to have something walking through it, contaminating it. The baled hay is too tightly wrapped for anything to get in. You may want to consider just buying a bale next time. It actually does end up being cheaper than buying by the bag or flake.

Hmm thats a good Idea Ill just have to figure out where in my apartment I can keep a bale of hay though it cant be much bigger then those big ol outside garbage bags right....
Is it wierd that Im an apartment farmer

Oh my, you live in an apartment? Do you just have the quail or chickens, too? A bale might be a bit big for you. i put mine in 40 gallon rolling rubbermaid containers. It takes about 3 of them to fit it all in.

You may want to look at this incident as a rare, one-time fluke.

that is what I was thinking . . . where the pointy end was attached to a web and stuck to the limb. do you think one of your ladies or gent carried it back in from outside? After they determined it wasn't too tasty?
