Something wrong with my Mille Fleur De'Uccle

You are welcome. I didn't mean to get into a fight over anything. I just want to give the best advice that I can with the information given. The only way to know what kills something is to have a necropsy done. Since one wasn't done on the rooster, we will never know. I don't believe that birds need extra vitamins if they are given a well-balanced diet and are healthy. Because of the Marek's, I do give vitamins and electrolytes daily to try and boost immunity. I've lost 30 + birds to date and if I can save just one person from this heartache....
No I'm glad you mentioned other things, I have all my chicks from this year in the same pen and will have to start over if they all start dying. And I looked up every disease when the rooster got curled neck and started not being able to even stand. He kept falling to side. He would eat and drink and poo looked normal also.
I feed them game bird grower, cracked corn and scratch. Throw in grass and give them mealworms so I thought I was giving them enough. Maybe I need to give more vitamins? I wasn't giving them any until someone said I need to, this is my 1st year owning chickens so still learning.
But I am hoping she is OK and gets better. I will be so upset to loose her, my husband even said tonight " she's the nicest one".

Mille's head is up today. Maybe she was just not feeling well? I am just wondering if the strawberries (they never had them before) could make her sick or the meal worms I gave them, could she have had too much to make her not feel well? I try to only give them 3 each but sometimes they steal them off each other so one may get more than were supposed to get.
Or the worms I bought were in wood shavings (smelled like pine to me, but not sure). Usually I order them and get them in news paper but everyone was out of them so I went to the bait shop. Those are the only 2 things I can think that I gave them day she got sick.

I'm not sure that I care! Just tickled that she looks so wonderful this morning!!!! I know that a belly ache will cause them to act 'off'. Maybe the combo of new strawberries and worms was a little too rich for her. I am so happy for you and your pretty little pullet!!!!!

Oh another thing, she is really liking the scrambled eggs can you give too much eggs? I am mixing it with the game bird feed but she is picking out the eggs. I don't want to get her sick again.

Since egg is their natural food...baby food/formula sort of...I don't think that she can eat too much. She is probably finding it soothing to her upset tummy.

Me too!! She had me scared there for a day. I will keep her in the house again today to give her extra attention and see how tomarrow goes. All the other chickens seem fine. I know she is my meal worm hogger. She gets on my arm to get in the bowl to get her own worms and I have to keep setting her on the ground. LOL

I believe I have read somewhere where Strawberries are NOT good for Chickens. I will research to verify this, It''s great to see she's up again, I would keep with the Polyvisol and Vitamin E as CJ has stated previously.. GOOD LUCK, Glad to see she's doing good..
