I have 5 polish chicks and I've had them for 2-3 days, I bought them from a women after they had hatched. Last night, one of the chicks was pecking at my favorite baby's butt and we realized it was bloody all over. We separated the injured chick from the rest and tried our best to clean its butt off. She was pooping fine, and just looked like she was missing some feathers and was bloody. This morning when I looked at her, her butt looked like the photos included.

She seemed like she was pooping fine ( her special box has poop all over ), but now that I'm holding her, I can feel her pushing and nothing's coming out, and when she's done pushing she goes to peck at it. Everytime she chirps, the little bubble inflates, and when she's not chirping, it's deflated. She seems to be in a lot of pain or discomfort and I don't really know what to do. Help? They're all eating the same medicated food and none of them have little irritated, swollen butts like this one.

Sounds like prolapse. Do post in detail on the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures." thread. Please do not have her out where flies can lay eggs in her wound. The resulting maggots make the initial injury seem minor. Maggots can travel through the body and cause horrendous damage while doing so.

I think your chick had some type of prolapse and the others kept pecking and pulling and made it worse. Chicks/chickens go after any sore or injury and sometimes resort to cannibalism.
