Somethings wrong with my rooster?

Any idea why this happened?

I just finished the deed. When I turned him upside down to put him into the cone a lot of brown liquid smelly stuff poured out of his mouth. Any idea what this may be and is the bird still edible?
Open him up and get clear photos of everything.

Welcome to BYC.

Please dont take the curt responses here to be unwelcoming! I'm glad you were able to dispatch him without any trouble. Definitely reduce the number of roos but I totally understand the adjustment period between straight run chicks and too many cockrells. I wish you the best of luck!

Welcome to BYC!!
I am so sorry this happened.
While you are deciding what to do with the other roosters, you may want to add some places in the run that allow for everyone to get away from each other: extra roosts, logs, old chairs, etc. Just something they can jump up on to avoid an attack.
