Something's wrong with my rooster's bottom.

I just noticed that my rooster got blood and poop near his vent area. He's looking healthy though, he's eating and mating just fine. But I'm not sure what is it so I'm posting picture.

Looks like he's being picked by the others or something like mites is irritating him so he's picking him self.

He's got inflammation, can you clean his rear, disinfect and apply a layer of neosporin on the redden tissues?

Looks like he's getting pecked in the rear by other chickens.

I suspected he got mites, I bathe all my chickens with a wash out shampoo just few weeks ago.

With what? If they do have mites, you need to completely clean out the coop, all litter, all bedding and use a perithrine based products such as poultry dust or horse spray then treat your birds. then add new bedding and litter.

Funny story, I had a chicken friend who got chickens from me. I wanted to borrow his rooster for a few days to breed with my hens. His roosters bottom had no feathers, from being "Hen pecked" and when the rooster came to our coop the hens surrounded him and noticed his bottom, one hen went right up to his butt and pecked it, the rooster said, (OW!) just like a person would have.
