Somethings wrong with this chick

I tried its keeping the legs underneath. Perked up a lot after nutridrench

I have had chicks hatch that have wanted to continuously flip over backward. This I think was neurological. But I would use the NutriDrench and tape the legs together as you have done. My only splay legged chick had his hobble on for 3-4 days and could walk well. NutriDrench has selenium in it, but extra vitamin E is needed for wry neck symptoms. Too much selenium is not good, so I would not add more. Using a chick chair or a padded cup for balance may help as well.

I use tweezers, but not to grab onto to pull off the shell fragments. I use one side only of the tweezers and gently slide it under the edge of the shell to loosen it all around the outer edges until comes loose. You don't want to pull off any feathers.

Okay thank you. I'm worried this is the spot they are always connected to before the hatch.

It hasn't done the neck thing since using nutridrip. I did get the vitamin e though just in case
