somethings wrong

It looks like the yolk is mostly there? Or from here all there? She could have something left or just might be normal reactio for laying a soft shell. Hopefully giving her a little time will get her back to her normal self
i think so, the yolk is broken but theres a lot there so if any were left inside itd probably only be a tiny amount, im just worried about my baby

I know it scared me when Pearl was acting off that morning I finally decided to go out and do something but as soon as she saw me she jumped up and the soft shell popped out. Then she took off like nothing happened. They can sure makes us worry. Is she doing better now?

She's standing up, next to her sister just sleepy.
I'd feel better if she went to sleep, or ate something so I'd know she wasn't in pain still or anything
But I think she just needs a bit to calm down. Seemed exhausting, and stressful for her as well, especially when it came out, I've never seen them stand like that, ever

She's still standing there, pumping her tail very lightly

I know this is a rubbish photo but you can kind of see her- ignore the chair, i needed something to sit on

I sure hope she feels better soon, I worry because when Sprightly was new to laying, she laid three eggs in 24 hours
-and two were soft shells that were stuck inside.

I don't think Dougie could be dealing with another one, as that happened way back when Sprightly was very young. I imagine their bodies are doing better than that by now, aside from the odd glitch like this. Still makes me nervous though

Her pumping could be from the calcium
It makes them contract
At least I’m hoping that’s all it is now
Could you run her a warm bath and see if this helps her
Possibly, though I'd be worried that bringing her inside with all the dogs here, plus bringing her sister who gets super stressed about change to her routine, may cause more stress than good
shes having a nap now so hoping she feels better. I dont think she ate or slept all day, so shes incredibly tired- I may be able to bring her into the shower room and fill our old baby bath for her, if she doesnt improve enough. It's actually starting to get dark already, so it'll be bedtime for them soon.
If my family weren't such a pain about it, I'd probably have brought them in for the night so I can continue watching her. I don't like putting them away for the night so soon after it's all happened, maybe that's silly, but I worry a lot

Has she been on break from laying this winter ?
Sometimes when they start back up it’s like starting new again
Daisy was off for a few months in winter and when she started her eggs were small again
They just got back up to size then she went broody and stopped laying
No break, she's laid almost every day this winter
