Like when you candle the eggs, and realize that they will hatch in about three days (chicks look fully formed, but still some yolk sac to ingest) but by then, you will be on a three day retreat.
Almost worth playing sick and missing the retreat for...

Ha! I know the feeling! I had to go away when my one lone duck egg was peeping and missed the whole thing. Still, it'll be sooo cool to come home to little fuzzy wuzzy butts!

Maybe its easier... You don't have to pace around and look at the incubator every five minutes to see if anything else has happened... or stay up all night... or start worrying and think you should help...Go and enjoy yourself..... leave the worry behind. : ) I know I would have a hard time doing it too....
