Sometimes they just look so evil...new pix of both girls

Thank you for all of your helpful information. I am full up on chickens for a good while now but the next time around (translates to: when I decided to up-size my coop) I will definitely look into getting some of those. If you ever figure out which hatchery they are from let me know. Oh, and that big black roo in your video is so silly. He's just posing for the paparazzi. Wanting his 15 minutes of fame I'm sure! LOL

I don't think they come in other colors, at least I haven't seen any. They are pretty enough as they are

When I looked online, it said there were other colors in other countries but none here? something like that.

One just sold on eggbid for $40! Plus $60 shipping! Holy cow, my two girls could pay for my coop and run! Not bad for $2.50 a pop at TSC.

PS...I think my girls are prettier than the one on eggbid. Close! But mine have a cuter face and bigger comb (even though they are about the same age)

It's been a while since I posted pictures of the crazy Buttercups.

They crack me up daily. They just have so much personality.

Don't believe me?

When I get home I throw the chickens treats off the back deck. If I take too long, they get impatient and come up the back steps to wait on me.

Here are Stew and Tweedle Dee waiting on me.

But wait. What is that? IN THE BACKGROUND?

EVIL BUTTERCUP!

Next thing I know, half the flock is up on the steps and both Buttercup girls are on the railing PLOTTING the slow food lady's downfall.

You gotta admit....they sure look like they are plotting something.

Crazy girls. From the looks of their, ahem....CHEST region.......they don't need any more treats today!

No matter how evil they are, they sure are pretty.

They are both growing some serious spurs. Hopefully they will use their powers for good....

....and not evil....

(but i doubt it)

I've only had chickens now for a little less than 3 months... and I've gone from 6 chicks I bought as day olds, to now having a total of 12 gathered from random people, all of various ages. At this rate, I can't even imagine how many I'll end up with a year from now. But I can tell you this... I WANT SOME OF THOSE Sicilian Buttercups! They are just too dang cute! Glad I subscribed to this thread and got to see these updated pics. Thanks NellaBean.

I so want some of those chickens now! They are beautiful!!!

ERnoleGuy - watch out, chickens are addictive! I didn't want any but my husband talked me into getting 4 this past may, well now we have 40 and another 26 on the way!

I didn't think it was possible for those buttercups to get prettier, but as they grow they are really gorgeous! I'll take them off your hands for ya when I get moved over there. Surely they will have the brain thing figured out by then....
