Dirtpaw slipped under the ShadowClan tom holding her and tried to claw at his belly, but his hair was too long and her claws too short. In return, he let his legs buckle and pinned her to the ground. She squirmed, but he simply reached down and picked her up by the scruff. Suspended in the air, she was useless to do anything but growl.

Lemonberry stopped being pinned down and she scrambled to her feet, her scratches screaming for attention. She raked her claws across the cat that had been scratching her.
