Quaildapple went over to the fresh-kill pile and hooked a rabbit in her claws and carried it over to Lemonberry, "you want to share this rabbit?" she asked.
"sure." Lemonberry said.

The cats gathered and started their march to the Fourtrees. Stormclaw couldn't help but notice that Windwhisker kept very close to Umberstar's side.


Dirtpaw had been waited for this night for moons! But now that it was finally here, she was nervous. She kept close to Silvermoons side.

Quaildapple followed the other cats, Frillpaw trailing behind her. (Frillpaw is her apprentice.)

Sparrowfur sat in her nest. I wish I could go to the gathering... well, I don't exactly want to see those stupid Shadow clan cats ever again, though.

Lemonberry once again found herself wondering if Cactusclaw would be at the gathering. She also, again, found herself wishing that he would be. but not to claw his pelt off. to see him. so that he could reassure her that everything would be ok. But Lemonberry knew that things wouldn't be ok for quite a while.

The ragged patrol made their way to the Fourtrees. ThunderClan and RiverClan were already there. You could feel the tension crackling in the air from the edge of the hollow, but the worst was yet to come...

Quaildapple tucked Frillpaw closer to herself and whispered, "stay close to me." Frillpaw nodded, her eyes wide.

Sparrowfur sighed. It really was boring in the medicine den... especially with nobody around.
