I recently heard "Sexy Eyes" by Dr. Hook. There aren't enough barf emojis to convey how much I viscerally disliked this song.

Because it was plagiarized. It was a camp/scout etc song (I think it was originally from Germany, then translated to English, and used at camps?)
The song, the dance, everything was stolen. Not even credited. (They just changed the tune SLIGHTLY, and cut out the shark attack part of the song. It's so hard to find the real song online now.)
