There are photos of a Blackshoulder Violete on my web site ( mentioned on this thrd.) and there are feather photos of different colors comparing to Violete. The males are difficult to get the colors to show well and there are a number of photos on the web. I am not good at putting photos on BYC or there would be more of my birds photos on . There is 8-9 yrs of breeding in these to get many males. There are not many around as most people cant pay $1000.00's for each bird... Some of the first purple males were $5000.00 each and silver pied were in that range also. I have been from border to border and almost coast to coast to look at peafowl. So some of you need to get out and see what is out there. I know of a number of new colors that people have not seen yet. If you want to get smart about it for what ever reason ??? go ahead as you probably not going to buy one anyway. thanks all ,, George Connerhills
