so i have a small pet flock of 5 ducks (all diff breeds) and i have 2 female silkies, one japanese bantam hen, and a silkie rooster, and one newly hatched chick. so i finally have the mom and baby outside fenced off. well this morning i went out there to the japanese in the separate pen trying to kill the baby and pulling at the moms feathers and running her all around.... this japanese bantam was never supposed to stay but when they were little she was raised with a partridge silkie who was staying and she passed tragically, so then we felt bad for her and kept the japanese..... now she is "wild" no human contact or coming close to people at all.... is it normal for a hen to be so aggressive to a mom and her chick?! i just want to get rid of her, my friend offered to take her and i just might, i need some help bycers [IMG]

I would rehome her. I have Japs and they keep their distance from me, but never aggress towards me or other birds.
