Bought a farm truck today and are going to sign the contracts tomorrow! Washer and dryer are at the farm and the truck will be there tomorrow.

I LOVE this farm!!
I'm so tired and am still just feeling very surreal but it's a good surreal.

Just a quick update. I have MY truck, and I love her so much!!!

She's really, really well taken care of and has no issues at all in either driving or mechanics. My pink John Deere tag is already on the front.

We are also the proud owners of a 1949 Ford N8 tractor that is in FANTASTIC shape! We're actually the 3rd owners and bought it from the owner who's owned it for the last 20 years and has maintained it so very well. It's perfect for us and I can't wait to see it tomorrow!

The lease is now signed and we start moving in on Monday!!

She's getting the first workout tomorrow. 1/4 ton of lime and a few bags of fertilizer are needing to be picked up from TSC for the garden, so after sleeping in a bit we're going to go pick up all of that tomorrow afternoon.

96,000 original miles and has been VERY well taken care of. The only time she didn't crank was when I flooded the engine forgetting that it's a straight carb not fuel injection.

The kids love the original radio, no tape deck, just AM/FM and one speaker.

Quick update, the truck did just fine, and I couldn't even tell that I had 3 teens in the bed and 15 bages of lime and 5 bags of fertilizer back there. This truck is a workhorse!

The tractor is at the farm and for the first time I got to drive one. I LIKE this tractor!!

One other thing that I didn't mention here was that my landlady and I know each other through both church families and growing up in the same area. Her Mom and mine both knew each other, we know different families from that church and we have a lot of good history together.
It was so strange talking about each person we knew and finding out I know both hers and her husbands mom and dad.
I thought about it last night and when she called me today, she said, "You know you're Momma and my Momma are up there having a great time planning all of this and laughing the entire time!"
I then told her about the truck which she remmebered my Daddy driving, and the one I have now. it was an "Oh, WOW" moment.

I'll update more later, I know everyone's getting sick of me being so happy.
