something dug into the goose yard and stole 4 goose eggs last night...looks like traps and night shift with a shotgun for me...looked like too big a hole for a 'possom...it rained heavy and wiped tracks out so I could not determine exactly what it was...could be a coon or a fox...

I am so sorry to hear that ! Darn varmits always looking for a free meal lol. I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on keeping geese I am looking to buy some and what do I need to know before buying , can you tell the male's from the female's , and can I keep them with my ducks? Any suggestions?

Get a big outdoor dog to stand watch. We have 2 and they have taken down a few racoons in our yard.

I have the same happening to my goose eggs! Our chickens eat some of them as I said in another post but their has been something else eating my eggs to!
I hope to start puting a trap out!
