It's called Avelox. I know....but I don't really think I am gonna die whatever this is.

I feel hopeful, anyway.

If I had suspected I would get this sick I would have gone in sooner but I tend to push my own "issues" to the side, especially since my son had been very sick. *sigh*

I get that way when I am pregnant or recovering from a flu, go make some toast and don't worry about the calories you've not eaten in a few days.

It could be like the others said and be because you haven't been eating and your body is telling you WE NEED FOOD. FEED ME

Hypoglycemia which is low blood sugar is a possibility and could be a temporary condition brought on by your not eating.

I'm a diabetic and last time I was sick my doctor told me to watch my sugar because the antibiotics can make your sugar go wacky. A symptom of low blood sugar is being HUNGRY.

I'm not saying you are a diabetic... just saying what is true for diabetics can be true for normal folks too

The best thing to do is call your pharmacist or doctor and find out. You can't replace REAL medical advice.

Well, I survived the night without eating the dog or cats or anything so all is well.

Oh, I know REAL medical advice is the way to go, just can't get that in the middle of the night and though maybe someone might have an idea. The potential for hypoglycemia sounds like and interesting theory, though.

Another thing I started thinking of, the antibiotics said they can mess up your potassium level. Never really thought about that making me feel hungry exactly, but maybe if my body needs potassium it would make me crave something and I might FEEL hungry. Anyway, I am going to incorporate some bell pepper into breakfast to help with that.

Ugh, chickenbottom.....hope we both feel better soon. This stuff is HORRIBLE!!!!
