sore eye

i have a 3 week old chick with one eye she tries keeps shut .
I have washed it with water but it looks sore and slightly crusty edge
What do i do ,how to clean it ??

Try washing it gently with saline. 2tsp salt in 1 quart distilled or boiled tap water.
Then apply neosporin without any "caine" type pain reliever.
If there are any other symptoms please post, could be a sign of disease.
