Sore on leg - my first chickens

I'm new here and I am raising my first 7 chickens. They are about 7 weeks old. I just noticed this sore/spot on my black copper maran's leg today. I can't tell if her legs look scaly (mites?) or if she just injured that leg and it is swollen? Any thoughts or treatment recommendations? I love all my girls, but Queenie cost my a few more $ and she is very sweet and very pretty Any advice is much appreciated!!

Welcome to BYC. It doesn't look like scaly leg mites. I would say that it may be an injury. You can put a little betadine or neosporin on it. Watch to make sure that it doesn't get bigger. My grandfather, who grew up in Kentucky, always had hunting dogs named Queenie and King his whole life, LOL.
