sores/bumps on chicks beaks?

Does it look anything like the picture below? Many have posted pictures similar to this, and they possibly can be from a papilloma virus or from an injury caused by a sharp feeder or fencing. Some of these tend to fall off eventually. Let us know how it turns out, and post a picture if you can.

Others may have a suggestion, but I'm still thinking that it may be from some sort of sharp object injuring the beak. Does it feel like a scab or possibly an abscessed wound?

some start as a wound it looks like.. then it starts to look like this in a few days.. i recently made big huge cages with rabbit wire ..small mesh squares..that wrap around 2x4s.. so i cant see the wire hurting them as i see no sharp points..it may be they were picking on each other..hopefully.. cause they are starting to act dominant towards each other i saw..they are not even 2 months old and wild...well as long as we dont think its something serious i will be ok..thanks for all your help..i will be checking here often if i have any more problems

I'm having this problem.. it's not from a cut. It's starts like a blister then turns into a growth like thing.. I been rubbing my rooster down every day in triple antibiotic ointment. It seems to slowley be getting better..been dealing with this for about 3or 4 weeks now. he acts fine. I just wish I new what it is

That looks like fowl pox. It starts with biege blisters, changing to brown scabs on face, comb, wattles, ears, and more rarely on feathered parts. It is a virus carried by mosquitoes, and it lasts about 3 weeks. Complications can occur such as eye infections, or wet pox which includes yellow painful scabs in the thoat and airway.

Lol thank you sooooo much.. that's what I thought at first then the sores got bigger and both his eyes shut and I couldn't find anything on what it could be. So I went back a did more research after I posted this and figured out it was fowl pox. He is getting better. He had both eyes open yesterday. I had to hand feed him cause he was blind so he got a little spoiled. Lol

I would use something in his eyes twice a day to help prevent infection and possible blindness. Terramycin eye ointment, bacitracin or plain neosporin, or Vetericyn eye wash or gel are all good. Pox is a virus, but bacterial infections can be common in the eyes. Good luck on his full recovery.

That is exactly what I've been doing :) he is doing very good. Both eyes are open and the sores are disappearing. Thank you again. I wish I had posted something on here when I was freaking out 2 weeks ago.
