Sores on ducks feet

I gave them their first soak today TSC didn’t have the salve so I ordered PRID off Amazon I should have it tomorrow afternoon. I did their foot soak in the tub it’s just easier it’s a smaller space and they only have so much room to fight us on it. My only mistake was I did them together (lesson learned) but I’m a little concerned my female KC kept going after the male and then he would go for her neck, back of her neck or her feet I got between then a few times but they never act like this. Should I separate them while they are healing especially since the females feet are worse then The males? I just don’t want to cause them more distress but I’m more worried about her and don’t want them to hurt each other I have a hard enough time getting her to let me catch her and look at her I kind of think it’s better to have her in the house but I don’t want either of them in distress.
I soak my duck's feet in a bucket. My pekins are docile but its a big struggle with the muscovy who makes it very known he doesn't like his feet soaked!!! Its much easier to keep him and his feet inside a bucket than anything larger. In a bucket, the ducks are also unable to drink the water as I feel sure my ditsy pekins would try to. I would definitely soak your two ducks' feet separately so that you can be sure they are not drinking the water as well as not fighting in the water.

If the squabbling only occurred in the soaking tub, I would not separate your ducks -- they need ducky company when they have sore feet!! If they squabble outside the tub, then you would have to separate them for now

I check duck feet very frequently. I find it's hard to keep them 100% perfect. I try to intervene when I see a problem forming.

I also find that some of my ducks are more susceptible than others, so I wonder if it's a genetics thing. My Welshie and my Runner seem to have more problems than my Swedish, Saxony, or even Pekin.

To combat problems, I changed bedding to something softer and do my best to remove rocks from their yard.

I agree with how to soak I have always used a bucket with both feet inside and I sit and hold onto them, so they can't jump out. Even a plastic dishpan will work but the bucket is much better.
We live in the mountains and there are rock galore I gave up trying to get rid of them I use to gather but then it would rain and they'd be right back. I havent had much of a problem with my ducks and bumble foot just 1 so far but some of my chickens when they were young had it alot but I guess their feet toughen up because they don't now.
Hopefully, the Prid will do the job.

Also, when caught early I have had success with using colorless iodine and brushing that on each spot with a toothbrush, then applying triple antibiotic ointment or silver cream - do that 2-3 times a day, but keep them out of the pond while it dries. Also, make sure their swimming water is fairly clean, and I'll echo what others said, check your surfaces to make sure they're not too hard or rough.

Keep us updated on how they are doing.
Today is day 4 of the foot soaks and day 2 with the salve their feet seem to look better my hen (Claire) one of hers opened yesterday but it looks a lot better. My drake (Jim’s) have reduced in size significantly. Jim’s beak has started to peel I’m not sure if that is normal? They are a year old these things are all new to us
