I have some chicks between 4 and 8 weeks they were all doing fine and suddenly this morning there are 4 dead. The remaining 17 are alive but holding their wings down, heads down and feathers fluffed. I sat them outside to get Sun light as they've been inside the barn.

I gave them sugar water, electrolytes and some apple cider vinegar water.

I just saw this. There is blood in their poop. After giving the sugar water some are going to eat. I put a heat light in one side so that they can do under it if they're cold.

Have you had them on medicated feed? If not, I agree with everyone else and I'd start Corid immediately. Just go ahead and jump to the severe dosage. TS and many farm stores carry it in a powder, often in the goat or livestock med section. You can likely order it from Amazon also but they need to be on it today.

I would start running corid right now.
yeah thats what i would say too coccidiosis is so scary can kill quickly if not treated in time not to mention those who do recover from serious infection sometimes have issues later on down the road for example when my flock was 5 months old in july they got it and we didnt figure out what was going on until we lost half the flock and the survivors are doing good but one of my hens who im pretty sure was on her death bead she survived but due to coccidiosis her growth was stunted and she never grew anymore after that

I've had them on Purina grow and start medicated crumbles since I got them.

I'm getting the Corid after I get off work.

The thing about medicated feed is that if you feed it while they’re in the brooder with no exposure to cocci then they won’t build up any resistance. Then you throw them outside and they are suddenly exposed and they have no resistance and the amount of medication in the feed isn’t enough to keep things under control. It can be tricky but once you get them on the corid you should see pretty rapid improvement
