I read other posts about niacin and I'm getting the liquid B complex and orally giving it to her for 3-4 days? Right?

Will she recover?

I'm also going to get the same Poultry Booster to add in food for the rest of the flock. That was suggested in another post.

This is my third year and I've never had trouble with this? New breed. Is it a breed thing? Or from a new breeder? Bad blood line thing? I also had angel wing for the first time with this hatch. New breed from new breeder.

Sorry complex post.

1. Will I see recovery or should I cull?
2. Can it be genetic or just food? Bad line? (Never seen this before bought from new breeder and new breed)
3. Should I toss all eggs?

Using Kalmbach 20% all flock and a 5 grain scratch

You keep her on the B complex for as long as it takes. 1 ml daily hopefully in a week you'll begin to see improvement it all depends on how long it has been going on. Give her a chance to recover. If she is only going to be on B complex no need to toss eggs. You actually want Brand name Rooster Booster but the "Poultry Cell''
How old is this duck/duckling and what breed?

She is 25 weeks... 6 months

How long has she been like this? are you sure it isn't an injury? even if it is the B Complex can help support while healing
Give her a lot of water therapy so she can build up her muscles, water takes the pressure off the legs. Just make sure she can get in and out of water safely.

I had it happen to another duvk earlier this week and thought it was injured. We isolated and it got worse instead of better lost full mobility and then died. Then I saw her limping this morning.

Ran out after lunch got the liquid b12 Rooster Booster and the Rooster Booster Poultry mix. I gave her orally with a syringe the liquid b12 and she is actually standing again.

I gave the mix to the rest of the flock. It's kind of expensive to put that in twice a month. Is there a more frugal way to preventing

You only got B12
Rooster Booster is a good one too and hopefully will help her get back up and walking. Can you post a picture of what you bought?
You didn't shoot it into her mouth I hope they can aspirate so easy.
if you already know this I apologize but it's important we know how to give liquid meds.

Once you get her back up and walking normally get Nutritional yeast and sprinkle it over their feed. It's a very good source of B vitamins too.

I totally shot it in her mouth but just out of luck didn't do it wrong. But this time, thanks to this I made sure to do it right! She's already walking again. Still a little weak. But, she wasn't walking at all when I first administered.

I am having a similar issue with one of my birds! She is a muscovy and was having issues standing on her feet a few months ago. I assumed it was niacin issue and ran out and got some niacin supplements to feed her immediately and then ordered some Rooster Booster that I have added to their feed. I am also feeding the the Kalmbach Duck and goose feed.

They have been on the rooster booster for a month now and the one bird has stopped standing over the last week and now a new bird is limping.
I got them sav-a-life (bird Gatorade), brewers yeast, epsom salt, grit and more rooster booster. They ate a bunch of the grit immediately so maybe it is calcium related?

Could these issues be related to being on the Kalmbach feed?

Do you mean oyster shell instead of grit?oyster shell is what you give to supplement for extra calcium and don’t mix the oyster shell or grit into their feed place it close though and they will eat it as they need it. I know last year people were having problems with Purina feed and their birds. Hens not laying etc.
