I walked out to the coop to see one of my cream leg bars just nestled up on the coop floor. They like to do that sometimes so I didn’t think much of it until she didn’t get up when I came next to her and touched her. I tried to get her to stand and she was weak and wobbly. She just seems SO tired and lethargic. She was absolutely fine yesterday and eating and drinking until now. I don’t think her crop feels full from what I tried to feel. What can I do for her? I plan on separating her so I can see her stools bc I have no idea what hers look like specifically right now. I have corid and nutridrench but have never had to use them aside from the corid one time when they’re were all about 5 weeks old. Please help. She seems so lethargic and weak.

I'm sorry she's not doing well.

How old is she?
Can you get photos of her and her poop?
Does she lay eggs?
Any signs of injury, lice or mites?

I'd take her aside and get some sugar water or electrolytes into her, see if she perks up any.

She is about 14 weeks old. Hasn’t laid eggs at all yet. No signs of injury or lice/mites. I have just separated her so I’m waiting on a poop. This is her currently. I just gave her some nutridrench, but I will try electrolytes as well. I’m not sure if she’s eating or drinking on her own yet either since I’ve just isolated her.

Poor girl!

What does her crop feel like?

Just in case, do you have any Corid (Amprolium) on hand?

Bright white poop is probably urates, was it all liquid or any form to it (photo if you have one).

Update: Bright white poop

I do have corid! I tried to get her to drink the corid water, but she won’t. Should I attempt to syringe it like the nutridrench?
Crop feels empty to me.

I think I'd start her on the Corid.
You can give her a direct oral drench of Liquid Corid a rate of 0.10ml per pound of weight, given twice a day for 3 days.

This is in addition to provide the Mixed Corid (2tsp Liquid Corid to 1gallon water) as the only source of drinking water for 5-7days.

If she's not drinking on her own, then you'll want to periodically syringe the mixed Corid water into her throughout the day so she stays hydrated.

Omit the Poultry Nutri-Drench while you are treating with the Corid.

Let me know how she's doing tomorrow and get more photos of her poop as she goes. Hopefully she'll perk up quickly.
