I have an 8 week old Indian Runner! S/he's VERY noisy!! Is this the breed or do you think its a girl? I have an older Cayuga drake and know what males sound like but wasn't sure because they're different breeds. Thanks!!! (:

Sounds like a duck (female) to me :) The breed will only make a small difference to the sound of the quacking. Smaller ducks have a slightly higher pitched quack and bigger, deeper chested ducks have a slightly deeper quack - but a quack is still a quack. The difference between females of different sizes/shapes will be very small compared to the difference between a duck and a drake. If you can hear her loud and clear across your yard and from inside your house - it's a female!

LOL Well then yep! It's a female! She reminds me every night to put them away! lol

Sounds like it is likely a susie to me. The females usually are the "gabby one" - loud and talkative... like females of any species. :) Hehehe

Goodie! I was hoping for a girl because I read that Indian Runners are the best layers! (:
