The breed will only make a small difference to the sound of the quacking. The difference between females of different sizes/shapes will be very small compared to the difference between a duck and a drake. If you can hear her loud and clear across your yard and from inside your house - it's a female!

Goodie! I was hoping for a girl because I read that Indian Runners are the best layers!Sounds like it is likely a susie to me. The females usually are the "gabby one" - loud and talkative... like females of any species.Hehehe
