Sour Dough Bread... an adventure.

knjinnm, I couldn't find your recipe you posted. It's probably me! I tend not to see things that are right in front me!

I'll look again.

Anyways, my breads turned out good. The white bread rose much more than the raisin bread which was a bit disappointing but they both taste great!!! The raisins were in a pocket at the end of the loaf but then as I continued to eat toast this morning it was more even and nice looking inside. So overall I'm happy with both of them. The guten I put in really helps it not to be crumbly and I just love it.

I have also used some of the dough last week or so for some pizza. It was out of this world! I like a high rise pizza, although this one rose more than I actually wanted it to! But man, it was tasty tasty!

Hi Scoop
Sorry wrong thread.
I think I put to many chopped olives in my loaf. I was very wet after 18 hours, so I added more flour by rolling it a bit then baked it. Because it was cooked in a round cast iron pot I did not get as much rise as I would have like but it was still yummy. Next I'll try it with raises.
