I had no luck finding meds in my area. If it's not looking at least a little down tomorrow I might visit the vet (who thank goodness is familiar with livestock of all types). I'm a wuss and better safe than sorry I guess.

Great job with getting out the liquid!! :) I too hope you find the medicine, but like @NeuroticVirgo said you can always call the vet in the am. I'd feel her crop out again and if it gets squishy again, do the same thing you did to empty it again. Yeast infections are nasty like that and in the heat they tend to go a little wild. Heat+moisture=

I'd be doing the same thing if my roo weren't improving---I just don't know of any vets around my area who are familiar with poultry. You're lucky to have one! Good luck with your hen

I couldnt find d the meds either so far :/ Gonna call my local vet ans see if I can get something. My biggest concern is the others that ate what she spit out. I sure hppe they dont get sick now

I have a dog bowl auto feeder. Prob hold about a gallon of water. How much cider should I add to it?

Well she's looking better today. Now it feels a little smaller but a little more like maybe impacted crop because it's hard. Then again I did limit her water yesterday. I wonder if once I put the water back in she will swell up again from drinking a bunch. But then thats good if its impacted and not sour right, doesn't water help break it down? Called my vet...they don't do chickens. Every other farm Animal you can think of, but not chickens. Fml. I'm putting the Apple cider in her water today and just going to let her at it. (Since she went 1 day without and 1 day limited). Still haven't fed her solid food. She had some grit and yogurt yesterday and I massaged her crop a few times through the day. Nothing ever came back up. Her poops still look normal to me. And she had some solid ones last night but back to watery this morning. I don't know what else I can do. She definitely is over being cooped up but I don't want to let her outside where she can eat other things I don't control.
