The Newnan SHow is the same weekend as the big dog show here in Greenville. Unfortunatly, I just agreed to take the show chairman position. So I have to be at the dog show. I so wanted to go to the poultry show.
I hope to get to a good poultry show this year.
Is anyone drooling over the Silkies on Poultry bid? The splash pullet is so pretty. Love her coloring.
Flash said he would do her but I told him he better dig deep in his pockets if he wants her. He didn't know what pockets were so I guess that was the end of that.![]()
You are going to be busy!! I'm sure we will be at the dog show sometime that weekend. My husband says our next dog will be a French Bulldog, so we always go to the show and see them and meet the owners. I have a great collection of business cards for when he is ready to buy one. I've told him before that I am getting tired of going and seeing these dogs and thinking we are seriously going to get one in the next few months, for him to later say, "No, I think we wil lwait a while longer".

He is a great person, and sure makes you think about what you say and how you say it. HE is a master at twisting your meanings and the words. Someday we will have to meet.
This was today's egg collection. When Lou Ann went to gather the eggs after work, she found five eggs in one box and three in the other. She said she blinked a couple of times and counted again. Yep. Eight eggs. Seven chickens. Someone was super busy today. Looks like it was Maranda the Marans.
Lou Ann said she had checked the box last night when she took water up to them and the boxes were empty so they are definitely today's eggs.
I am now officially on chicken duty for the next week-I sure hope they behave themselves.
It would be great to get to meet you. We will probably be there on Saturday. Randy works at the fire department on the Friday. It would be wonderful to know what time and the ring for the Frenchies. Our plan, once Randy makes a decision, is to get one of the pet quality pups that are a few months old. There are some people from Tennessee that we have talked to a few times and a breeder in Georgia, also. You know you have been a lot when you start recognizing the dogs because you have seen them so many times (or at least know which dog goes with which person). You are going to be busy!!
