I have already put in for my cowboy kids!! Just a couple gals for my mottleds from Amy!! Oops I mean my sons mottleds from Amy!!

Anyhow, I have some of his offspring and Nella Bean has some of his offspring for sale so he lives on but not in the way I wanted him to. I had a lot of plans for him and hope the last of these eggs will hatch. I have his sister and she is doing well but the brat won't lay me any eggs yet. She is in with Ranger and I can't wait to hatch from them.
Cowgirl is pretty but not as full and round as her brother was.
Ranger should give me some stunning offspring with these girls from Nella Bean and a few others I added. I have a Cowboy daughter in with him, too.

So no update yet on my chicken disaster-ness. Going to give clemson extension a call today.
My chickens stopped laying again. I think this might go back to the whole illness situation. I had them free ranging for 2 1/2 weeks and am feeding fish food. Had 3 hens start laying. 2 of which have never laid before. Well, they were confined to their coop for a few days and the laying dropped and I haven;t seen eggs for about a week now. 0_o
My hubby says that there must be something gross in the coop that declines their health. Argh!
BUT...I have good news! I HAZ BABY DUCKIES!!!!
Got them locally. One is a Swedish Blue. The other is a Muscovy mix I think.
