I have my first quail eggs in the bator to hatch sometime in the next 24 hours...no pips...only one teeny button egg is wiggling!!

Chicks 2 weeks old seem to be thriving...and more in the 'bator should start to hatch late Sat or sometime Sunday. I suppose you will be in Newnan...look for DD samantha and family...she will have something for you ; ) Personally I love to travel but that may be because I am older and my kids are grown...but now suddenly it seems to be a drag because I have to leave my birds!!!

Ok my BYC peeps...My number is 864-981-2071 for anyone going to the Newnan show who wants it...I hope we can all finally meet in person and I know Redbug will be needing to find me for sure!Of course I am 4'11" and always wear a ponytail and glasses...just listen for the biggest,loudest mouth!

HaHa...that's a travel plan I hope to adopt one of these days! Right now it's mostly just "work" travel! I have visited a couple of BYC'ers and hope to visit more SOON...including you on my wish list!!!

You'll be so surprised. You'll go back in there after only a few minutes and all of those quail will be jumping around like popcorn! That's how it is here anyway, I never get to see them hatch, they all hatch so fast and mostly all together. Enjoy, there is nothing sweeter than those tiny baby quail.

Nothing new there. I thought that show was last week. Where the heck did Kimberly and Nicole go????

I went by the vet b4 work, at lunch, and after work. There was no improvement. If anything he was worse. Unresponsive, incoherent. The dr said there was something bad wrong with him, and would never improve. He's in a better place. Although tough, I feel like I made the best decision for him.

That is always a hard decision to make, even when you know there is no other choice. I'm very sorry for your loss. Sincerely sorry.
