Oh, goodie, Kris!!!! That will be a help, anyhow!
Isn't Sam a dear?? I love my Sam Bam!

ok Amy, now i know why i am confused with cricket. same age, not as big a comb, but a longer one. sometimes she/he drops a wing like a rooster, but no crowing yet. Sam saw cricket and said pullet, I hope she is right.

Amy Sam is a dear for sure. letting me have 2 of those special babies, means alot to me.

Sam they are doing well. We will get pictures this weekend, but they havent feathered out too much, seems to really be starting now. They are sweet, mostly quiet too. So I guess they are happy warm and full :)

I just wanted to post back to you guys and say how much we enjoyed coming out and seeing your beautiful farm yesterday. We had such a great time and are so thankful for all the valuable information that you gave us. We learned so much from you guys and from really everyone we've encountered through BYC. I am so thankful to have found BYC and all the wonderful, caring and helpful people who are on BYC. I know we've only met a good handful of the many on here though.

rut row, you have definitly caught the bug! Thanks for visiting us yesterday. many on here have beautiful birds well cared for. The 2 midgets you meet last night are from Amy. Susanne has silkies and much more. I know you like the silkies. You know alot of Sams and Patseys birds, so many more on here, who have some of the same breeds and others. Take the time to look around and see all the birds then ask.

Oh and for all the new SC folks, welcome. Every now and then, Robert, my better half, even though he is trouble, will post using my username, but he will always sign it as Robert. So you know it is from him.

We look forward to meeting more BYC folks too.

But I want eggs from her soooo bad!! LOL...And the posse is out dog hunting tonight!! I am joining them in the morning....got me a stand on the trail they are using. They came while I was gone today and my closest neighbor heard all the ruckus from them chasing birds...I came home to him sitting on his 4 wheeler in my driveway...gun on lap...guarding for me!!
It is a pain when you're wanting eggs from one and they insist on being broody!! That's awesome that your neighbor was watching out for ya! That's a good neighbor to have!

Thank you so much for having us. It seems the DH and I are farm hopping the past couple of days LOL.. We really loved visiting and seeing all your beautiful flock. You truly have a beautiful mix. I am super duper excited about setting the eggs :) I guess we'll see how this turns out.. I'm crossing my fingers.. I'll keep you updated.. and Thank you again
Thanks! It was great seeing ya'll again this evening!! Ya'll are welcome over anytime!!

Kind of dreading tomorrow......School is having a 4H event and I've been asked to bring my silkies. Sitting in the heat during the hottest part of the day doesn't sound fun:( But I will be sharing my birds with the community and that makes me happy:) Whom knows, a few kids may go home as poultry lovers :)
