Thought I would try posting this here too, I am searching for an old chicken tractor, I'm really just looking for a frame. I have wire and roofing but I can't make a frame strong and steady to save my life.![]()
I don't have much money and would be willing to work out some kinda trade, and if possible maybe give gas $ to deliever if you aren't to far away.![]()
Just joined BYC yesterday and just now finding my way here. I live in the Midlands and have 8 chickens. 6 RIR and 2 Speckled Sussex, all hens. We picked them up at the Tractor Supply in Lexington, SC the Friday before Easter. Finished up the coop this weekend and looking forward to watching them grow. Thinking about ordering the Rainbow Layer package from McMurray Hatchery soon.
We may be too far but John can build a good frame...he built the one we had at chickenstock...sturdy and can be built to custom sizes...even big enough to step in...I move all mine with a set of handtrucks under the end and pull where I want!!Thought I would try posting this here too, I am searching for an old chicken tractor, I'm really just looking for a frame.
