AWESOME!!! about the pip!! I forget what are you hatching? So the bator must be doing better since the move?Aye.. I've been away due to my crazy work schedule and internet issues..so I had to scroll through all the new post here.. So much to catch up on when you're away for awhile. I loved seeing all the pictures in the post..super cute babies and chickens.. So where do I begin? Gosh... Welcome to all the newcomers... Patsy i'm so sorry to hear about your dog.. it is really heartbreaking to lose a four-legged family member.. Kris & Robert congrats on the new turkey poults (hope I spelled that correctly).. Avonshire that is a nice little set-up you have there. I too hope that the dog is just in protection mode.... ok so if I forgot anything I do apologize...
So now for my news.. Today was my first day off in six days (yay) I spent most of the day doing not much of anything LOL... However, tonight was lockdown time for the eggs in the bator so right before the kids bedtime we went in to candle them before locking them down and found a really awesome surprise.. It seems we have an early bird.. One of the BLRW eggs has pipped already and is chirping.. Yay! but they are 3 days early.. We also have a lot of activity too.. we have a bunch of rocking from a lot of the eggs in the bator.. Unfortunately I have to return to work tomorrow so it looks like I'll be missing this hatching (most likely), but on the bright side my DH will be off and can supervise for meI'll post pics as soon as they hatch.. I can't wait!!
Super Excited!!
