Welcome to all the newbies. We lost a guinea yesterday to a human :( Actually he was hit by a vehicle, dont know why people cant slow down. On a good note, I think, our guinea hen who has been sitting on eggs, has a good size clutch of keets. Now to figure out if she will take good care or if we need to take them. Somehow I expect we will be rescuing them. It sure is sweet and adorable to see them all up under her. She was off the nest yesterday and I counted 20 eggs, when we checked on her she got up and there are at least 14 hatched.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that! With all the room they have on your place they have to wander to the road! For pete's sake!

I suppose I need to plan a trip to your place to pick up keets! Save me some and I will be down as soon as I can!

Kimberly, Nicole and I are headed to NC tomorrow to pick up Silkies.

Duh, me, I probably should have had you bring them to Chickenstock but figured that would be silly, too since you all live the other direction from me. We may do it next weekend or later if you want me to take some of the younger keets. You can let me know when you want me to pick them up. I am ready for more coral blues! Pretty!

So sorry for your loss, but congrats on the new babies! Any pics yet? :)

Amy, I leave for the Dobe Nationals Wed, should be back LATE Sat. So if you want to come you need to work it out with Robert. I thought you wanted some older coral blue so we could definitly give you sexed ones. Let us know.

No pictures yet. We just found her with them this afternoon, they were peeking out from under her. Maybe tomorrow we can try to take a camera and catch a few pictures of the new keets. I love those crazy gooney birds, keets are the cutest.

Yeah, I should wait til you leave and then tell Robert to catch me up some grown ones! LOL He would so kill me!

But then, those are HIS birds and one HE wanted. I remember that, even though you have gotten to where you tolerate them so well.

What beautiful babies!!! Look at them trying to get under Mama. So sweet. Congratulations again! And thank you for the pics!

Off-subject: Will anyone be at the Anderson Bantam Club show at Clemson in November?
