How was the farm tour?
Though you could have done without the bad weather it does sound very interesting. I would like to do one of the farm tours in the future.
I hope everyone in SC is okay, especially in Anderson County where there was a tornado. Too scary for me. I know we have had our share of threats where we are. It has not been long since one touched down close to here. Those poor people in around OK City. I guess it is like living on the east coast with all of the hurricanes. But I feel more prepared and you at least get a little more notice before it hits.
Makes me miss the pine trees back home - about the only thing I miss about Fayetteville. Bad storm meant the tops of a few pine trees snapped off. Here or at the coast, whole trees up root and fall over in heavy rain and wind. Scary stuff!I live on the south east side of town. Wasn't too bad here. Just very heavy rain. I don't mind the rain, the wind worries me because of all the BIG trees we have. Limbs are falling all the time.
